Boreal Explorers was founded in late 2020 by Fredrik Andersson, a Swedish outdoor enthusiast.
The soul purpose of the Boreal Explorers is to connect and unite people who share a common interest to explore the earth´s greatest biome and last wilderness.

Members are encouraged to wear the Boreal Explorers Badge (BEB) during their wilderness journeys and adventures. The badge is given to all members. The forest, the river and the mountains represent the diversity of the boreal forest and its vast wilderness. The pole star (Alfa Ursae Minoris) symbolizes the northern hemisphere, the home of the boreal forest.
